Today's squeezed people are seeking greater satisfaction just the right combination of good quality of the film and happiness at a fair price of ticket. Another factor is the distribution of income also is shifting.
The Social environment is made up of institutions and forces that affect a society's values, perceptions, preferences and behaviours. The environment shows trends towards behaviour of Sri Lankan and their different cultural aspects. The demographic and economic factors are also a part of social environment that affect the local film industry. Demographic is the study of the characteristics of human populations. Today demographic environment shows an increasing population.
Recommendations of Technological Environment of Sri Lankan Film industry
- Provide better education about how to use technology in a film. So local film industry can get better output. This can be start from universities.
- Sri Lankan government should provide loans to import these technical equipment's. Because of these equipment's are very expensively, as result films makers can make profits over thought their films.
- Hiring equipment's from other countries in agreements. Because they might be increase their rental fee for hiring very often. When we hiring under these for their production sometimes they use expensive equipment's but it's not fulfil their expectations. As a solution of new technology for low cost and can get good quality
- Get experience of working with experts. Given scholarships to working with Hollywood and Bollywood film making teams. And they can share their knowledge with who work in local film industry.
